Who We Are

Real People, Open Approach

We believe that good problem solving starts with being open. Open with each other, open with you, using open source technology. For us, success is welcoming all voices to the table and making the technical approachable. By working together, we accomplish incredible things.

Our Team

Drupal experts, programmers, developers, strategists, planners, creators and doers — we’re all here. We share what we know at all stages, and we always say it straight. All in the name of achieving results for you.

Tess Flynn

Tess Flynn

DevOps Engineer

Tess is TEN7’s Swiss Army knife. She’s an ever-present force in Drupal and a frequent speaker at events, where she's known for comic book-style illustrations in her presentations. Her superpower is problem-solving—she’s always finding ways to improve a site’s infrastructure and efficiency, and she has the rare ability to look holistically at a situation through human requirements, not just those of technology and business. She also loves sleuthing out the source of hacks, especially the ugly and ingenious ones. Tess has encyclopedic knowledge of horror/sci-fi ranging from schlocky and campy to highbrow. She loves Star Trek, where the engineers use their skills to help people.

Madeleine Lowry

Madeleine Lowry

Technical Project Manager

Madeleine is our queen multitasker and copious list maker. Clients love that she intuitively senses their urgency and needs while minding their budgets; developers dig that she keeps them challenged but not overloaded. She’s a particularly gentle PM with a calming presence. Madeleine uses her business background to contribute to big-picture marketing and strategy for clients as well as the home team. She founded Southwest Coder Dojo, where teens learn programming, but she believes that kind of work should be left to the real code wizards. Madeleine has often reinvented herself professionally, but her love of food and polka dots stays constant.

Les Lim

Les Lim

Senior Developer

Les started with TEN7 as a lone wolf developer, but he’s now the lead developer of a bigger team, mentoring other developers and reviewing their code. Les loves improving processes and efficiency, especially when it comes to performance tuning. He has been working with Drupal for eleven years, and often speaks at regional and national Drupal conferences. Les is also an organizer for the Twin Cities Drupal user group, and a stalwart advocate for the local and global Drupal community. Les’ favorite time of day is definitely lunchtime, so he’s happy that TEN7 is now a distributed firm so he can have a properly cooked meal.

Jonathan Freed

Jonathan Freed

Account Happiness

Jonathan cares deeply about customer satisfaction and product excellence. He works tirelessly behind the scenes at TEN7 with a myriad of responsibilities including business development, client proposals, and podcast production. He provides TEN7 with valuable insights gleaned from vast operational experience having run his own agency. He is an engaged activist, who strives to improve the planet for fellow humans. He is as likely to go off on a political rant as to tell you a dad joke.

Jill

Jillian Tutterrow

Developer

Jill left a career in public education to create websites and is now a front end developer who also works to keep client sites updated and running smoothly. She’s one of those ridiculously nice, kind and genuine people who’s loyal to her team and her family. She’ll happily do the kind of hours-long detail work that makes other people groan, and she’s willing to fix any weird site challenge that gets thrown her way. Jill seems proper and refined but she’s all rock and roll underneath. Outside of work you’ll find her skateboarding, crossfitting, hard-core gaming, and finding typos on restaurant menus.

Jason Cote

Jason Cote

Front-end Drupal Developer

Jason loves finding innovative solutions to the complicated front-end programming issues we throw at him. He’s that laid-back dude who listens quietly but then spits out a zinger when you’re not expecting it. Jason loves tacos, coffee, biking, camping, and thinks eating weird chip flavors is one of the best things about foreign travel (mustard and pickle potato chips FTW!).

Ivan Stegic

Ivan Stegic

Founder and President

Words that describe Ivan: Relentlessly optimistic. Kind. Equally concerned with client and employee happiness. Bowtie lover. Physicist. Ethical. Lighthearted and cheerful. Finds joy in the technical stuff. Inspiring. Loyal. Hires smart, curious and kind employees who want to create more good in the world. His favorite things right now: the TEN7 podcast and becoming the next Björn Borg.

Eva Lovisa Nelson

Eva Lovisa Nelson

Designer

Our designer Eva has an amazing ability to intuit what clients want visually, often when they can’t express it in words. People describe her as possessing a fierce work ethic, loving simplicity and collaboration, and being constantly optimistic and sunny. After she collects all the client information on a project, we think she sits staring out the window for hours until inspiration strikes her and then she whips out a design in ten minutes, but it’s probably more complicated than that. Eva really, really, really likes fruit. She’s an actual fruitarian.

Chris Dart

Chris Dart

FRONT-END DRUPAL DEVELOPER

Chris came to TEN7 from the world of nonprofits where he was a jack-of-all-trades, self-taught tech guy, and he’s excited to be our newest team member and front end developer (and we’re sure he’s got hidden capabilities we haven’t even discovered yet). He’s a curious, even-keeled fellow who loves to challenge himself with new technologies. Chris is passionate about good design, believing that it enables users to do the right thing. He loves ensuring that our clients feel cared for, and he’s endlessly patient at explaining the intricacies of Drupal to non-technical folks. Chris has a background in the fields of ethnography, linguistics and anthropology, which he balances out with barbershop singing.

Alexis Vasquez

Alexis Vasquez

Full-stack Drupal Developer

Lex is a full-stack developer and TEN7's dispenser of unvarnished truth (when asked). Lex does strategic back-end work, anticipating our clients’ needs and giving them more than they’ve asked for. His combination of dry humor and calm demeanor makes him popular with clients and coworkers alike. Lex’s side gigs include DJing, producing music and mixing some mad beats, including our podcast music.
